Pritam Poddar - CEO

Pritam has been developing his expertise in additive manufacturing for the last 7 years during his PhD under the direction of Dr. Denis Cormier at Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT). During this time, he has worked on the ALE process using a large format Titan Robotics machine. Pritam began this project in 2019 through the Saunders Student Accelerator program at RIT.

He has presented his work at multiple conferences including the Solid Freeform Fabrication Conference in 2017 and 2019, the Institute of Industrial and Systems Engineers Conference in 2017, and the AMPrint Multifunctional Printing Symposium in 2019. Pritam has also published a book chapter on composite AM in 2020.

Pritam leads PrisAM’s process and business development.

Xavier Tarr - CTO

Xavier is a graduate of RIT with a Masters in Electrical Engineering and a focus in Robotics. His Masters project was to design, build, and program a desktop arm robot from scratch that could be utilized for future projects. Additionally, he has industry experience using arm robots as a Controls Engineer for both Tesla and GM.

Xavier leads the development of the ALE slicing software, and lattice structure tool path generation.

Justin Kon - COO

Justin graduated from RIT with a Masters in Electrical Engineering focusing in Robotics. Justin knows what it takes to complete a large scale project through his experience in his Masters thesis. He developed an Artificial Intelligence algorithm to learn walking methods for hexapod robots with damaged legs.

Justin supports mechanical, electrical and software developments.

Adam Foster - CIO

Adam Foster joined the team during the summer of 2020. Adam also completed the Saunders Student Accelerator program during the Fall of 2019 working on his own business venture in a similar area.

Adam is currently completing his Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering at RIT. He has industrial project management experience and has earned his six sigma green belt in machine design certification.

Adam leads mechanical design and innovation.
